Our precious baby, has turned into an active toddler. For the month leading up to her birthday, Libby enjoyed telling everyone she met, "I two on my birthday. I eat cake and M & M's."
Libby celebrated her second birthday twice. On her actual birthday, we enjoyed a family day, complete with presents, "cake and M & M's." Tom's parents, Nai-Nai and Yeh-Yeh, were here to party with us. We spent the day opening presents, swimming and spending good time as a family.
We celebrated again with Libby's friend Ivy who was born just 3 weeks later. Since both girls are the youngest, they don't have a lot of friends yet. We had a joint birthday party with family and a few other friends. Erin and I enjoyed pooling our teaching creativity and planned a Chicka Chicka Boom Boom Tropical Pool Party. Erin just moved into a new house with a beautiful pool so we partied there. The kids enjoyed swimming, doing the Limbo, and eating hot dogs and cookies. It was a fun time. And, the fact that the party was brought to a premature ending by a massive thunderstorm will provide a funny lasting memory.
Happy Birthday, sweet Libby! We love our beautiful 2 year old!
