Happy Birthday, Pappy!

My dad celebrated his 62nd birthday on February 2nd...or as Caedmon will quickly point out - Groundhog's Day.

For the record, I don't think he ran back inside his hole...he surely wants spring to come since his home base buried under several feet of snow with more on the way.

I digress...back to the birthday...Caedmon was quite disappointed that he was not able to celebrate with his Pappy on the actual birthday.  However, Pappy arrived on Monday to spend the week with us.  After dinner, we had a belated birthday celebration complete with chocolate peanut butter cupcakes, candles and singing.  Both kids enjoyed helping Pappy blow out his candles...and of course, eat the cupcakes.
